We have recognized the need for more programming in our community for this age demographic and we are working on making this a priority. For singles and couples who are looking for a place to be Jewish, Ohr Shalom is a great fit. We have a very active congregation and member involvement is highly encouraged – our philosophy is that everyone should feel “at home” here. In order to make this a reality, we are forming a committee to plan services and events specifically for this age group.

 

We are happy to say that our first young singles/couples Shabbat event in the historic synagogue at Heritage Park was a wonderful success. We had so much fun that we hope to make it a yearly event!
